UPDATE: 4/7/06: We’re working on it!! We know that you are waiting for the three South African shows and they are almost ready . . . really. Pre-order now and look for shows the week of April 10th. We will be sure to e-mail you the second they are available for download. Thanks for your patience and again, sorry for the inconvenience.

This is the next logical step in a process that began back in 1991 when we first implemented the "Taper Section" at our shows, where our fans were encouraged to bring in their own gear to record the show, and then take home their very own "bootleg" of the concert they had just seen. This technology will enable our fans to get the best possible recording of the show, without having to hold a microphone in the air for the entire night!

from where did you know it? the livemetallica site just says that the shows would be up the first week of april (which is this week) , and the thing with monday was just posted yesterday
