After a 20-hour flight from San Francisco, the boys have finally arrived in Antarctica to become the first band to play all of the seven continents worldwide. Metallica's set from Carlini Argentine Base in Antarctica on Sunday, December 8th will be streamed live (as close as possible to live!) to residents of all Spanish-speaking Latin American countries at www.coca-cola.tv and www.coca-cola.fm at 10:00 PM local Argentina time.

Everyone is working hard to ensure that today's show is a success. The band is really excited to be taking part in this once in a lifetime gig and the contest winners are ready to strap on their headphones to do a silent headbang. Soundcheck is around 2 PM local time and the show will be around 5 PM local time.

This was the most unique show Metallica has ever done. The band, contest winners, research station scientists, and the ship crew, all crammed in this little dome out on the helipad of Carlini Station in ANTARCTICA! The energy in the little dome was amazing! Words can not describe how happy everyone was. Setlist is up and a few pics to come shortly... internet is slow at the bottom of the world. More pics will be posted later this week.

There was only one stream Dinko, so it is the same for sure, maybe an bit different in quality
