Bootlegged by: JITF

Band: Cross Border Trio
Genre: Jazz
Venue: Dizzy's
Place: San Diego, California
Date: September 14, 2006
Special Event: CD Release of 1st CD. "New Directions"

Bootleg notes:

Cross Border Trio comprises of 3 members.
Jason Robinson, 1 of the 3, The Saxophonist is my Jazzy History teacher here in
San Diego at City College.

Extra credit was provided to students who went, but this concert was well worth it,
extra credit or not. Jason Robinson is a moderately famous Jazz musician.

Bootleg Quality:
I give it a pretty decent B- rating
Unfortunately it was with my crappy recorder before i got my newer one.
Most parts are quite listenable and enjoyable, some parts are fuzzier than others,
and theres a minute or so with loud static.

EXTRA INFO:

After track 5 they take a half-hour break, and then track 6-11 is their 2nd set.
Tracks are mostly named "Unknown Song" because i can't make out the names for mostly all of them
or they weren't announced.

MY RECCOMENDATIONS:
Listen to track 9. The sax solo intro is incredible.
