Summer Tour Heats Up

We're baaaaccckk!! Welcome to the 2012 edition of the "one show at a time" tour announcements. Today's installment finds us traveling to Paris on May 12 as we continue to extend our summer vacation with a show at Stade de France. And in keeping with the theme of the summer, we will be performing the 'Black Album' in its entirety... just another anniversary to celebrate!

Tickets go on sale on January 30 at 10:00 AM local time at www.avosbillets.com. Clubbers should log in for more information about their special pre-sale.

Another Addition To Our Summer in Europe
January 19, 2012

As promised, one more for the European summer vacation as we continue to expand the tour with a show in Udine, Italy at Stadio Friuli on May 13. You guessed it... a 20th anniversary celebration of the 'Black Album' is a part of the plan. There seems to be a pattern here...

Tickets go on sale January 23 at 9:00 AM local time at www.ticketone.it. Met Club members should log in for details as your special pre-sale starts on January 20 and ends on January 23.

TWO New Dates in Europe
January 23, 2012

TWO announcements in one posting today! We'll be kicking off our European trek this year by starting in Prague, Czech Republic on May 7, 2012 at Synot Tip Arena, followed the very next day by a visit to Belgrade, Serbia at Usce Park on May 8th. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the 'Black Album' is on the agenda (of course!) in keeping with the theme of the summer, and these will be the first two performances of it in its entirety.

Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday, January 27. The sale in Prague begins at 9:00 AM, Belgrade at 10:00 AM. Met Club members should log in for details about their special pre-sale in Prague. The Prague pre-sale begins on January 24 at 8:00 AM local time and will end on January 25 at 7:00 PM local time.

You know the drill... keep watching here as we should have a few more additions later this week.

European Tour Announcements Continue
January 26, 2012

We jump ahead to June 4, 2012 with this announcement as we’re proud to headline the Sonisphere Festival show in Helsinki, Finland at Kalasatama. Joining us here will be our good friends and fellow Bay Area residents, Machine Head, along with friends from around the world, Amorphis from Finland, Gojira from France, and the Swedish band Ghost. In keeping with the theme of our summer in Europe, we will be performing the ‘Black Album’ in its entirety . . . no real news here.

We Are Back With One More Sonsiphere Festival Date

January 27, 2012

We'll be off to Madrid, Spain on May 26, 2012 at Getafe Open Air for a weekend edition of the Sonisphere Festival as we headline that Saturday night during what promises to be a highly memorable weekend including others. The ‘Black Album’ celebration continues . . . the entire album will be part of the set list as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of its release (AGAIN!).

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, January 31 at 10:00 AM at http://www.ltinews.net/LTI and http://www.atrapalo.com/. For more information, head over to http://es.sonisphere.eu/ . Met Club members can log in for details about their pre-sale. The pre-sale begins on Friday, January 27 at 12:00 PM (noon) local time and will end on Monday, January 30 at 9:00 AM local time

We're psyched to return to the Bemowo Airport in Warsaw, Poland as part of the Sonisphere Festival on May 10, 2012. Some of you might remember that this was the scene of the first ever Big Four show in June of 2010 and this time we'll be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the 'Black Album'... it's always a special occasion in Poland!

Tickets go on sale TOMORROW, February 3 at 10:00 AM at www.livenation.pl. Met Club members should log in for information about their pre-sale, which begins immediately and ends on Friday, February 3 at 10:00 AM when the public sale begins.

Final European Tour Announcement
February 12, 2012

This is it, our final addition to the summer vacation in Europe with a Sonisphere date at Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland on May 30, 2012. You guessed it, the 'Black Album' will be performed in its entirety (yeah, yeah, that 20th Anniversary thing) and the line-up for the day is out of this world as Slayer, Motorhead, Mastodon, Gojira, and Eluveitie will all be joining us!

The Met Club pre-sale already in progress, so Clubbers should log in for details. The pre-sale will end on Wednesday, February 15 at 9:00 AM local time. There is a four ticket limit for the pre-sale.
